God!!

I have done some posts on God earlier too. I like writing about God when ever I am in distress and looking for his mercy. May be by writing about him I just want to make him happy and want him to smile at me. No I am not an orthodox neither I am someone who approves wrong practices in the name of religion nor someone who denies the scientific theories. Yet I am a simple human being who believes in a power above us God that works beyond human power and principles. Don’t know how many of you will agree with me that sometimes the things are beyond human power and leaving them to God is the only solution. I am not ashamed if believing in God makes me a weak creature. God for me is the only light in a cave of darkness, only companion in my solitude, only comfort in my distress, only judge of my work good or bad, a silent spectator of my cursing when I am angry.

I thought about these lines for over a time and I realized my God is my mother. Thanks for giving me this profound revelation.

I am an agnostic. Though it's hard to deny that many things are not in our control. Believing that some-one good is controlling such things is I guess beleiving in God. It definitely is a postivie thought.

@pallav I believe the cribbing thing is something that all of us do with God. At times we may forget to thank God but surely cribbing is something that we never forget :)
@ Buzz welcome:)
yes I too belive that God cannot be everywhere so we have parents to give us special attention. How ever certain times some things cannot be worked up by them and those are the times we look to GOD:)
@ BrownPhantom I totally agree with you surely God is capable of handling the things in a better way:)

I guess, in this era of modern science, more and more people are resorting to atheism. I do believe in God, though am not hard-core religious. I like going to certain temples. Praying is so helpful sometimes. It has this magical power to heal and comfort you which is just amazing! :)
